Branding Photoshoot in Chesham - Kirsten Heynisch

Happy Monday lovely humans. I hope your hearts and homes are full of warmth as we head into the colder months of the year.

I have to admit to feeling a little SAD lately and while I am doing all of the good things, which I’ll list below to combat this, it can be super overwhelming. Pair going into the darker months with running a busy business, doing a 9-5 job too and going in and out of lockdown and it’s really no wonder I am feeling a little odd. And that’s okay.

Here’s a few things I do at this time of the year to combat those wintery blues:

  • I got myself a decent SAD lamp which goes on every day around 4pm

  • I workout at least three times a week

  • I go outside every single day for a walk, be it a 8km wander through the local countryside or a quick trot around the block

  • I have a bedtime routine of bedtime yoga, soft lighting, no phone and yummy lavender oils

  • I try my very very best to get up and out of bed at the same time every day

  • I meal prep hearty warming meals such as stews, pies, soups and pasta bakes

  • I reach out to friends and family when I feel isolated

  • I have started journaling again, every day when ever the need strikes me - if in doubt, write it out!

Wellness, both physical and mental is so, so important for so many of us right now. And one of the things that contributes massively to my overall wellness is coaching. Everyone who knows me will know I am a huge advocate for coaching & therapy. Which is why, I am excited to chat to you about this personal branding photoshoot I had with the wonderful Kirsten Heynisch. Not only was the Autumnal day we met for her brand photoshoot, absolutely gorgeous (think soft warm light and stunning colours) but Kirsten is a real pleasure to hang out with.

I popped over to Chesham where Kirsten has an utterly gorgeous summer house home office - with happy tones of yellow and pot plants that makes the space calm and restful. We took a few images here in her workspace as well as outside in the fields opposite her home.

Kirsten is an extremely experienced and highly trained Clinical Psychologist and Accredited Psychotherapist using a range of diverse skills and methods to help with a range of psychological struggles. Kirsten is curious, warm, engaging and totally committed to helping her clients.

Socially distanced hang outs are okay, but they lack the 2am dancing, the hugs, the high fives and the organic sharing of food & touch that we as humans, really crave. Coping with this is really hard. Kirsten is currently offering a service to help us get a grip on this: 'Five Steps To Help Manage the Emotional
Waves of Social Distancing Without Drowning'

Kirsten offers online sessions at the moment, so as to still offer her incredibly helpful services to those who need them in a safe, calm and covid safe manner.
