Story Telling - London and Hertfordshire Personal Branding Photographer
Hello you lovely lot, and happiest of summery Fridays to you! I am in a fantastic mood today as the sun is shining, the sky is blue and I have booked in three ‘Queen Of Content’ photoshoots this week and I am SO ready to tell these amazing business owner’s stories with my camera. I am also strongly part of the TGIF clan and looking forward to a weekend of R&R.
This year I’ve been focusing on my own branding and with the help of my amazing business coach Hannah, I realised I am not just your bog standard business headshot photographer. My values are around creating an avenue for small business owners to express themselves confidently and their business authentically and connect with their ideal client - personal branding photography in a nutshell right? But there is another layer of my passion for photography in general which is Storytelling. Every time I photograph someone, I want to know what made them who they are today, how their business was born and that is the magic behind a really good personal branding photoshoot.
Over the last two years, I have photographed small business owners across London and Hertfordshire from a range of different backgrounds, industries and skills but each of these amazing entrepreneurial geniuses have had one thing in common - a really inspiring business story. This was especially highlighted when I carried out my Celebrate Women in Business project here in Chorleywood last year. As well as when I met and worked with the amazing creatives who are in wonderfully supportive business hubs like Hannah’s Double Down group.
So I thought I would peek back at some of my favourite images from previous personal branding photo sessions, those that really tell a story and share them with you.
All of these amazing small business owners and creative entrepreneurs have a story to tell and a skills that would highly benefit their ideal client. Whether you coach, make or arrange - personal branding photography across your website and social media is so important. I subscribe to the saying ‘a picture tells a thousand words’ and the story behind your business is hugely important to your brand.
