A Hertfordshire Personal branding Photoshoot with Nicky from Chiltern physiotherapy

Hello! I come to you on this sunny Saturday to introduce the wonderful Nicky from Chiltern Physio.
Nicky runs this warm, friendly physio clinic in the middle of Chorleywood village and not only is she a brilliant physio, she is also a runner, gin lover, a mother (and so home schooler), a boss and an important business woman in the local community.

A force of bubbly nature, Nicky wants to change how women think about running, particularly women in their 40s. And she KNOWS! She recently embarked on an awesome personal project - the challenge of completing 40 sports events before turning 40 back in October 2020, including the Swim Serpentine 2 mile swim, Ride London 100 mile bike ride, and the London Marathon to earn the London Classics medal. The grand finale of the whole challenge was to climb Kilimanjaro.

Of course the pandemic scuppered some of Nicky’s plans so instead she turned her focus to launching a new online business which is all about empowering women aged 40 and above to exercise more, especially running. When Nicky reached out to me, she had me at ‘empowering women’ and I wanted to hear everything she had to tell me about her exciting new brand, so imagine my delight when she booked in for a personal branding photoshoot here in Hertfordshire in the brief period of freedom we had at the end of last year.

Nicky and I met in our local coffee shop where we did a few shots, before going over to the gorgeous Chorleywood Book Shop - both shop owners allowed us in when the space was empty - got to love a community of kind business owners!

After a few shots of Nicky in her own studio showing some key moves, we headed up on to Chorleywood Common, where I had spurts of beautiful warm light and a chance to get some authentic photos of Nicky being Nicky!

Although the day turned cold and wet, Nicky’s little one and partner joined us on the common - as well as Cheyne, her beautiful pup and we had some fun in the rain before wrapping up for the day.

I’m really pleased with the photos from this incredibly fun photoshoot with Nicky and I loved meeting her team and family. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs physio. And for those women thinking about giving running a go, drop Nicky a line! You can find her here:
